INTerior photographer FROME

Having worked on a diverse range of projects as an interior photographer, I have gained a understanding of how to interpret the client's vision through the camera's lens. Whether that is for commercial or residential interior photography, space for an architect or interior designer, I approach all with the same level of care and attention, and always strive to make the very best images possible.

The photography of interior spaces involves capturing the most dynamic aspects of a building alongside highlighting its architectural and interior design qualities. My interior photographic projects aim to capture both those design features; materials, furnishings and at the same time covey how those spaces are occupied and utilised by the buildings inhabitants.

As an interior photographer I am welcomed into newly designed spaces, for both residential and commercial projects. My job as an interior photographer is to capture the aesthetic, the use of space, the design forms and most importantly the light. Interior photography uses natural light as much as possible in every space whilst balancing the artificial light which the designer has specifically integrated into the space.

Farmhouse, wiltshire

Stunning woodwork designed and created by Jonathan Tibbs; from the impressive oak entrance, staircase and kitchen, down to the bed frames and flooring, beautifully finished textures, precision craftsmanship and simple lines demonstrate that images are vital in showcasing a client’s work.

Having previously used Jamie for my website, I didn’t hesitate to re-commission him for photography of a recently completed woodwork project. I had crafted numerous pieces throughout a stunning stone farmhouse; by discussing every part of the brief from the oak entrance door to the staircase, fitted kitchen, right down to bed frames and flooring, Jamie understood what was required perfectly. He took time to ensure every piece was captured in its best light and explained the reasoning throughout. The end results display my work beautifully.

The Manor House, Garden Room, Hampshire

Early autumn light accentuates the Tadelakt lime walls, polished concrete counter and steel framed windows; contrasting with bare brickwork and naturally aged antique oak in this architecturally-simple, imposing garden room.

Jamie captured the space and the textures beautifully; the white tadelakt almost embraces the space. Fine work which has appeared several times in publicity publications. I look forward to working with Jamie again soon.

Town House, Wiltshire

A handsome Victorian town house with a long, light, living-space, dark painted cupboards and solid raw wood elements; all the more beautiful for being lived in. Jamie took advantage of the many lifestyle elements within this stunning home to create compositions capturing both the professional and the personal.

I was looking for a pictorial record of my work, creatively shot, showing fine details as well as product shots, for use on my new website, Instagram and to promote my business. Having discussed the project with Jamie I was in no doubt that he would present my work to its best advantage. Jamie spent a morning at my studio, made sure I was at ease and took relaxed, candid photographs while I showed him around the workspace. In the second part of the day we went to a handsome Victorian Wiltshire town-house where I had recently completed a kitchen project; here he took composed, more formal interior shots which reflected my work beautifully.
